Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The Chef de Partie will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining the high standards of food quality and presentation that our guests expect.

Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook assigned dishes according to recipe specifications and quality standards, ensuring consistency and adherence to presentation guidelines.
  2. Station Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry) and effectively manage all aspects of food production within that station.
  3. Ingredient Management: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify the Sous Chef or Head Chef of any shortages or discrepancies.
  4. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of food products to ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and adherence to food safety regulations.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the culinary team to coordinate food preparation and maintain a smooth workflow during service periods.
  6. Training and Development: Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen procedures.
  7. Sanitation and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times, following proper sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  8. Menu Innovation: Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal specials and promotions.

Qualifications:

  1. Culinary Education: Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field preferred.
